2015 MIA Pinnacle Awards Deadline Approaches

Oberlin, OH, June 17, 2015 — The deadline for the 2015 MIA Pinnacle Awards is Friday, July 31, 2015. The Pinnacle Awards, a worldwide competition for excellence in natural stone, recognize projects in the following categories:

  • Commercial Interior
  • Commercial Exterior
  • Residential Interior/Exterior
  • Renovation/Restoration
  • Kitchen of the Year (NEW FOR 2015)
  • Bath of the Year (NEW FOR 2015)

In addition to Pinnacle Awards of Merit and Excellence, one Grande Pinnacle Award winner will be selected. The winner of this year’s Grande Pinnacle Award will receive a trip to Marmomacc to attend 2016 Veronafiere.

All MIA member companies are eligible to enter. Projects must adhere to MIA technical and design standards. Winners will receive publicity via an MIA awards brochure distributed at the 2016 StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas convention and the potential for further publicity through a variety of highly-respected industry magazines. Winners will also be displayed on the MIA website, which receives over one million hits each month.

Past MIA president, Tony Malisani, said: "We see MIA members and the design community pushing the envelope of what can be fashioned with natural stone.
