Oberlin, OH and Chestertown, NY, December 19, 2017— The Natural Stone Institute is honored to support the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). Since entering into an agreement in late 2016, natural stone has been included in nine specially adapted smart homes, with seven more currently under construction.

2017 MIA President, Jon Lancto, commented: “We are proud and humbled by this opportunity. I can’t think of a better way to involve our entire membership in the efforts led by the Gary Sinise Foundation that benefit those who have sacrificed on behalf of our country.”
