Joe Kapcheck

In 1986 Mr. Kapcheck started his own company (J. Kapcheck & Co.) in the Chicago area as a full service stone company working on notable projects such as: Peninsula Hotel and the award winning St. Patrick's Cathedral Interior Renovation. He has served the stone industry as President of the Chicago Marble Dealers Association, as well as the 1999 President of the Marble Institute of America. Mr. Kapcheck's prior experience includes 26 years with the Vermont Marble Company (notable projects include: Sarah Scaife Museum in Pittsburg and the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Chicago) and 5 years with Continental Marble & Granite (projects including: Fairmont Hotel in Chicago and the Texas Commerce Tower in Houston).
