Cleveland, OH, September 25, 2013 — The Marble Institute of America (MIA) has added another partner program that benefits its members. In partnering with Intersect Insurance Services to offer a worksite health benefits program, the MIA has offered an endorsed program long desired by MIA members. Jeff Handley, MIA's Member Relations Manager says, "This program, backed by Allstate Benefits and administered by Intersect Insurance, is a member exclusive offering, designed to provide peace of mind to employees in the natural stone industry. Any time we can add value to MIA membership, we try to take advantage of it and extend that value to our members."

Alan Lemick of Intersect Insurance Services is a stone industry veteran that has worked in many areas of the supply chain. Alan commented on the program, "The worksite benefits program is very timely with the changes and implementation of the affordable care act; employers can offer this program and lower their costs while employees receive vital benefits on a guarantee issue basis." He added, "This type of program typically has only been available to large corporations, so it's great to be able to share it with MIA member companies."

The Worksite Benefits Insurance Program joins MIA's wide array of cost savings solutions available only to MIA members. To learn more about the Worksite Benefits Program, or any of the other MIA cost savings solutions, visit: http://www.marble-institute.com/about/membership/services.cfm.
