State of the Natural Stone Industry Lecture:

This State of the Natural Stone Industry session will cover a number of key topics impacting the industry including tariffs, silica, and opportunities to increase the use of natural stone by design professionals. Mr. Hieb brings a perspective from one of the largest natural stone trade associations with members in over 50 countries.
Attendees will learn about:
- Impact of tariffs in the United States
- Efforts to reduce silicosis cases in fabrication facilities, as well as the threat silica lawsuits are having on the sellers of stone slabs.
- Resources available to educate the design community about natural stone.
- Other key initiatives being led by the Natural Stone Institute.
Attendees will also be afforded the opportunity to engage with Mr. Hieb during the questions/answers component of the sessions.
