Join the Natural Stone Institute for four days of in-person networking, stone industry education, and fun in Cleveland, Ohio!

During this event, we will be touring regional stone architecture and attractions including but not limited to:

  • Cleveland Quarries
  • Mont Granite showroom
  • Historic Lakeview Cemetery and the newly restored James A. Garfield Memorial
  • Amherst Sandstone Village
  • The Natural Stone Institute testing lab.

Other recreation and social activities are planned to maximize face-to-face networking.

NOTE:  Due to current levels of existing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, and uncertainty about whether there will be improvements or not by our event date, some aspects of our program and activities cannot be confirmed at this time.

Pre-registration with a $500 per person deposit for this members-only program will open on Tuesday, April 6.  Final cost is anticipated to be between $695 and $795, plus lodging.

This deposit secures a space and applies to the all-inclusive package rate that includes all planned meals, receptions, transportation, and entry fees for scheduled activities and visits. Lodging is NOT included.

The host hotel, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown-Lakeside, is ready to take room reservations now. Hotel reservations may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty*.  Room rates start at $119.00/night plus 9.5 % per room/night tax and an 8.0 % per room/night secondary tax.

*Hotel cancellation policy is independent of the Natural Stone Institute Study Tour registration cancellation policy.

By July 2, 2021 we will assume the most current CDC protocols for our dates and complete the registration process. NSI staff will contact all PRE-REGISTERED attendees to confirm a final registration, including selection of any optional activity and additional charges.

Registration closes August 20, 2021.  

may be cancelled without penalty between July 2 and July 9, 2021. Final payments must be received by August 20, 2021.
Full registrations received after July 2 may cancel before August 6, 2021 with a full refund. Cancellation requests made after August 6 but before August 20, 2021 may cancel with a $125 administration fee. No refunds after August 20, 2021.

  • Sunday, September 12: Plan to arrive in time for mid-afternoon registration followed by a 4pm walking tour of downtown Cleveland; walk to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for a fun evening of cocktails and rock memorabilia.
  • Monday, September 13: Breakfast and Town Hall meeting; offsite tours, banquet, and live auction.
  • Tuesday, September 14: Breakfast and Town Hall meeting; offsite tours, afternoon optional activity, evening on own.
  • Wednesday, September 15: Breakfast and Town Hall meeting; offsite tours, team building event and closing reception.

Tuesday afternoon attendees will have the option to select one planned activity. Additional charges may apply.  Subject to change. All activities and associated fees will be confirmed by July 2, 2021.

    Proceeds benefit the Natural Stone Foundation to create, fund, and/or support programs that directly educate the architecture and design community, consumers, and industry professionals about the features and benefits of natural stone. Last year we surpassed our goal to raise $40,000 and look forward to increasing our donation to the Foundation each year.
