One goal of the Natural Stone Institute is to provide employers with opportunities to train their employees on best practices in the stone industry. In an effort to accomplish this goal, the Natural Stone Institute has created sample syllabi for training employees throughout their careers.
Sample Safety and Health Training Syllabus for New Employees
The sample safety syllabus is provided as a guide to help companies train employees who are new to the stone industry. The guide takes new employees through the first 4 weeks of employment and recommends safety training through the first year of employment.

The sample Sales syllabus is provided as a guide to help companies train employees on the geology and sales of natural stone. The guide takes employees through 4 weeks of training of natural stone marketing techniques and natural stone resources they can use in stone sales.
