Board Elections Set for October
Meet the Candidates
(2026-2029 Term on the Board of Directors)
Four candidates will be vying for two board of director positions and presented to the membership for consideration in October. Voters will select one individual from each slate to serve a four-year term (2026-2029). Eligible voters will begin casting their votes by electronic ballot on Monday, October 13, and voting will conclude on Friday, October 24 at 9 pm Eastern.
Murat Gurcan is the Director of Sales & Business Development at Dulcet Tile, a Los Angeles–based luxury mosaic brand. Based in New York City, he oversees all U.S. operations. With more than two decades of experience in the natural stone industry, he has led global sourcing, production, and sales initiatives across Turkey, China, and the United States. A lifelong advocate for stone education, he is passionate about connecting quarries and factories with the U.S. market to strengthen the industry’s future. He holds an MBA from Yeditepe University and a BA from the University of Istanbul.

Martha Roberson
Granite Group International
Villa Rica, GA
Martha Roberson was first introduced to the industry in 2002 by working in sales with a slab distributor in North Carolina. Four years later, she opened and managed a new location in Birmingham, Alabama for the same company. In 2010, she became a founding partner of Granite Group International where she is currently still a partner. Martha has found the stone industry the most exciting and fascinating part of professional career. Having been a member of NSI for several years, Martha attended the 2025 NSI Study Tour.

Greg Osterhout
Northern Stone Supply, Inc.

Greg Osterhout has been a member of NSI since 1995. He has served on the Natural Stone Foundation board of directors with his term ending at the conclusion of 2025. With a lengthy career in the natural stone industry, Greg is the President of Northern Stone Supply, Inc. Greg has served on several committees for the association and has been actively involved with the North American Quarry Advocacy Group and has been a generous support of the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program. He has also participated in NSI’s webinar program and has previously served as the NSI board president.

Peter Prvulovic
Vermont Quarries Corp.

Peter has been part of the Natural Stone industry for the last 30 years. The majority of his experience comes from working in the distribution sector of our industry, while the last nine years have been spent in the Quarrying and Manufacturing division. Over the past seven years Peter has been actively involved in NSI committees which include the North American Quarry Advocacy Group, Continuing Education Committee, as well as the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. Program Committee.
