Meet the Candidates

(2027-2030 Term on the Board of Directors)

Seven candidates will be vying for three board of director positions and presented to the membership for consideration in October. Voters will select one individual from each slate to serve a four-year term (2027-2030). Eligible voters will begin casting their votes by electronic ballot on Monday, October 12, and voting will conclude on Friday, October 23 at 9 pm Eastern.

Ana Correia, Co-Founder and Commercial Director of ALS Stones in Portugal, holds a degree in Business Management and has more than 25 years of experience in the natural stone industry, from quarrying and production to commercial management and international markets.

Since co-founding ALS Stones in 2019, Ana has helped drive the company’s strategy and international growth, while remaining close to what matters most to her: people, challenges, and relationships.

Direct and approachable, Ana believes in honest conversations, shared knowledge, and continuous learning. She is passionate about sustainability, education, and strengthening collaboration across markets and generations.

Ana is actively involved with the Natural Stone Institute and other international industry organizations. She believes the future of natural stone depends on how the industry evolves together.

Through her international experience and practical industry knowledge, Ana is committed to listening, connecting people, and sharing ideas as part of her service in the global role on the NSI Board.

Luca Donatoni is Commercial Director and a shareholder of Donatoni Macchine, a family-owned Italian company serving the natural stone industry, and President of Donatoni America. Since joining the company in 2008, Luca has gained extensive international experience working with stone fabricators and industry professionals throughout Europe, North America, and other global markets.

His experience has provided him with a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the natural stone industry, including technological innovation, automation, and evolving customer and market needs. Sajiv Shrivastava is Executive Director of Milad Marble, a second-generation, family-owned natural stone distribution company based in Dubai, UAE, representing quarries in Oman and Italy and specializing in Omani marble and Italian travertine. He brings a unique combination of natural stone industry experience and a background in investment banking, having spent a decade with J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley in New York. Sajiv holds a degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University.

Sajiv has actively supported the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) through his volunteer involvement with the Middle East Stone Fair, serving as an official NSI representative and presenting educational opportunities to industry professionals. He is also interested in expanding NSI's digital presence and making its extensive knowledge and educational resources more accessible through emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. His international business experience and technology background provide a global perspective on opportunities to expand NSI's reach and serve the industry.

Eric Chaloux has been with Miles Supply Co. for 15 years and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2020, overseeing sales operations across the company’s five locations. With a hands-on background in the trades and more than 18 years of experience in the natural stone industry, Eric works closely with stone industry businesses to identify equipment and solutions that meet their specific needs. He takes pride in listening to customers and providing guidance throughout the process, from equipment selection through installation.

Eric has demonstrated his commitment to the natural stone industry through his service with the North American Quarry Advocacy Group, where he currently serves as 2026 Chair, as well as his volunteer work with the Natural Stone Foundation fundraising committee.

Peter Dominguez

Peter Dominguez is President of California Surfaces, a 2026 nominee for Stone World's Fabricator of the Year. He joined the family-owned company ten years ago and has led it since 2022, overseeing stone fabrication and installation for production home, commercial, multifamily, and custom residential projects throughout Southern California.

Peter has advocated for stone fabricators before the Cal/OSHA Standards Board and testified before the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Trade Representative in Washington, D.C., on natural and engineered stone imports. He spoke on the silica safety panel at the 2024 NSI/Stone World California Stone Summit. Peter also supported the Natural Stone Institute's partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program, donating natural stone fabrication and installation services for a home built for a veteran and his family. Through his industry advocacy and involvement, Peter brings practical fabrication experience and a commitment to supporting the natural stone industry.

Cameron DeMille of MB Stone Care & Supply, LLC is a second-generation member of the natural stone industry with more than 20 years of experience spanning restoration, refinishing, repair, fabrication, and installation of slab and tile. Having transitioned out of the field, Cameron now focuses on training, technical support, research and development, and consulting.

Cameron has contributed to several Natural Stone Institute initiatives, including multiple chapters of the Dimension Stone Design Manual (DSDM). He has also served as a volunteer on the NSI Education Committee, including the Technical Restoration/Adhesives Committee, and as Chair of the Technical Subcommittee of the Education Committee. Cameron brings extensive practical, real-world experience and technical expertise to his work, supporting both industry professionals and MB Stone Care & Supply’s dedicated training center.

Alexander Zambrano is a second-generation stone professional and President of Fabrizio & Sons, a family-owned firm specializing in the restoration of natural stone. Alexander currently serves as the 2026 Chair of the Natural Stone Institute Membership Committee and is a volunteer member of the NSI Marketing Committee, contributing to the association’s branding and membership initiatives.

An active industry educator, Alexander is a CEU speaker and annual presenter at Coverings. He has also represented NSI as a delegate at the Marmomac Stone Fair in Verona, Italy. Through his leadership, education, and industry involvement, Alexander brings a strong commitment to advancing the natural stone profession and engaging the next generation of industry professionals.
